Hi Everyone - My name is Chris and I'm a flatlander (smile). Grew up in COS and moved to the Midwest after college and am looking forward to the marathon coming up. A quick question about training in the heat - advantages and/or disadvantages? Out here and most places in the country the heat has been brutal. Even early in the morning we have had mid-80's with high humidity. A few days ago we broke a record at 104 and surprisingly I saw a group out jogging. Not looking for tips but an understanding - how does training in heat and humidity help? Or does it?
