I'm finally ready to do a trial run of the whole race course starting in Manitou Springs. My question is, where do I park in town to do this? I know we shouldn't park in the Cog Railway spots, but is there somewhere in town near the starting line where I can keep my car most of the day and not get a ticket? While I'm at it, on weekdays are there usually one-way Cog tickets available to purchase at the summit for the return trip? Or do people ever have a problem hitching a ride down with tourists? Thanks!
