I haven't even run it yet, and I already love it!(And that'll probably have all the experienced runners rolling their eyes!) ;-) But, I have now run most of the route, and I think the two aspects that most appeal are the adventure of it, and the simplicity. This is no contrived road race weaving about a city just to equal a predetermined distance: this is a simple and thoroughly natural journey up and mountain and then back, and this simplicity makes it so much more than just a race... (Now, laugh at my inexperience, and watch me crash and burn!!!)
