You're the man, Stan! In the 30's with 30MPH Wind. Ok. 35 wiht a 30MPH wind is a wind chill of 21. So Stocking Cap in the pocket then, to go with the Gloves and thin Jacket around the waist for above Tree Line (Jacket NOT hiding the Race Number!). THANKS! Thanks! In response to: As requested, here's some more info: I'm not overly concerned by the weather this year, there are no significant storm systems to worry about unlike previous races. There is a fairly robust cold front coming in early on Saturday, but it does not look very moist, so the main impact will be wind. Northwest winds will probably be gusting in the 30 mph range above treeline. Cannot completely rule out some light precip overnight/early Sat, but I expect mostly dry race conditions. I don't think thunderstorms will be a factor this year, especially for the marathon on Sunday when it looks even more dry. The cool air will hang around on Sunday as well, so just be prepared for temperatures in the 30s above 13000 feet. I would check conditions early Saturday just in case (if Saturday is ok, Sunday certainly will be...) National Weather Service in Pueblo (my employer) will be keeping a close watch on the peak over the weekend, and will be in contact with SAR. Good luck!
